Trademark Registration

A trademark can consist of words (including personal names), signs, designs, letters, words, numbers, graphic elements, colors, sounds, smells, the shape of goods or their packaging, and any combination of the above signs. Only a mark that can be expressed in writing or drawing can be registered as a trademark.

Trademark registration required documents

• Applicant’s name and address
• If applying as an individual, you need to provide your ID card or passport; if you apply as a corporate body/company, you need to provide a company registration certificate
• Draw up a pattern to be registered as a trademark
• Detailed description of trademark registration categories and covered goods and/or services

Trademark application takes approximately 4-6 months
